Keeping my machine clean with the Durgol decalcifier has been easy and effective. I love my home espresso machine. Every morning I make myself a mocha and ease into the day. Best of all, my mochas taste just the same after cleaning. My espresso maker is now two years old and still happily cranking out delicious mochas with cleanings every two or three months.
Excellent product. After decaling with this product, I disassembled the boiler. It was spotlessly clean. Just be sure to flush your espresso machine with *plenty* of clean water until all of it is thoroughly flushed out so there's no remining taste of it.
Expresso machine alerted "descale" was necessary. After using product to descale the message light turned off indicating product worked as expected. Price was right and certainly better than attempting homemade solution that may damage unit.
This product cleaned my barista perfectly. My only complaint was the cost of the shipping. It was more than the cleaner.
If you have a high end espresso machine you need this stuff - even if you filter water. Works great, takes little time and maintains the warranty.
